Collaborates with 500 Global’s stakeholders to ensure business requirements and user stories are defined, solutions are developed, and implementation plans are delivered in scope, on time, and on budget. Additionally, this role takes on the responsibility of overseeing the operational side of projects, including managing the support team, on-call duties, and assisting internal customers.

Essential Functions

  • Schedule tasks, deadlines, and milestones, considering operational dependencies for smooth coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct thorough requirements gathering to understand operational needs, optimizing projects accordingly to ensure work aligns with operational objectives.
  • Efficiently manage roadblocks and troubleshoot issues that may disrupt operational continuity, promptly addressing them to maintain project progress and stability.
  • Monitor and report project progress, focusing on operational impact and continuity, providing timely updates to stakeholders to ensure alignment and address potential disruptions proactively.
  • Ensure quality assurance testing, maintaining operational integrity throughout to mitigate risks and ensure seamless implementation.
  • Assume on-call responsibilities, ensuring immediate response to operational issues outside regular working hours.
  • Lead and manage the support team, providing guidance and direction to maintain operational efficiency and meet customer needs, relying on automations and implementation and streamlining of processes.
  • Deliver quick fixes to solve time-sensitive problems, but also contribute to the design and delivery of long-term solutions to the root-cause problem.
  • Other duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of project management experience in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
  • 4 or more years of operational technical support experience for internal and external customers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven skills in managing scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Proven technical acumen to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
  • Experience managing technical projects on a 2-week sprint cycle and/or software development.
  • Experience with data / API integration projects.
  • Experience with workflow projects.
  • Experience with backlog management + maintenance.
  • Experience managing external contractors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management or related certifications (PMP, CAPM, SCRUM, etc.).
  • Significant experience with a wide variety of project/work management toolsets (ex: JIRA or similar) and productivity tools (ex: Zapier or similar).
  • Exposure to any/many of these platforms: Jira; Airtable; Zapier; Salesforce; AllVue / Altareturn; HubSpot; AWS; Jamf; Okta.
  • Previous experience in PE, VC, or financial sectors.
  • Previous experience working in a firm or with individuals specializing in marketing.
  • Organizational savvy and ability to build consensus across multiple global teams.
  • Experience working with (or at) startups.
