This role will be the key to the success of our programs in Alberta, Canada. You will report to the Program Manager responsible for the overall program and account management. You will be responsible for performing administrative duties, as well as supporting events and stakeholder management. You will be expected to be available at all program stages and virtual/physical event times scheduled for the duration of the program. You will be interacting with mentors and startups on a daily basis.
The position is based in Calgary
We are looking for a candidate to start in July 2025.
This is a contract position until March 2026.
Essential Functions
- Participate in the weekly syncs with the program team
- Coordinate and manage workshops, sessions, and office hours between the mentors and the founders/startups
- Plan and execute events
- Coordinate and oversee daily task management
- Send weekly program communication (updates, upcoming events, new mentors, deadlines, etc.)
- Update internal documents and tools for regular reporting and visibility
- Assist in preparing for our global immersion trip, working with the startups, partners, and vendors as needed
- Support the Program Manager in all aspects of the program.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience working within startups, VC, technology industries, consulting firms, or in project management roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines independently
- Experience organizing workflows, processes, or internal systems
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally
- Familiarity with tools such as: Airtable, G-Suite, Notion, Zapier, Airtable Automations, Hubspot, Salesforce
- Work authorization in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting or coordinating founder- or community-facing programs
- Ability to synthesize data and turn it into clear, actionable insights
- Prior experience with Canva or similar design tools
- Cultural awareness and enthusiasm for working with international teams
