About the Role:

As Director, Corporate Development, you will lead Hello Heart’s most strategic growth initiatives driving mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and market expansion efforts that advance our mission to empower people to improve their heart health.

Reporting into our VP of Strategy and Business Operations, you will own end-to-end execution of high-impact corporate development opportunities. You’ll identify, evaluate, and execute potential acquisitions, partnerships, and investments that align with our strategic roadmap. This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role that requires strong analytical acumen, business judgment, and the ability to move seamlessly from strategic thinking to hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships that drive long-term growth
  • Lead deal execution end-to-end, from sourcing and diligence through negotiation and integration planning
  • Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and scenario planning to support decision-making
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Product, and Executive Leadership to structure and execute transactions
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic priorities and identify whitespace opportunities
  • Develop strategic presentations and recommendations for the executive team and Board of Directors
  • Manage post-deal integration and ensure alignment between operational goals and strategic intent
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure impact and inform ongoing strategy development

Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree required
  • 7+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting
  • Proven track record leading M&A transactions or strategic partnerships end-to-end in the US market
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with deep comfort interpreting data and building complex models
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of influencing at the executive and board level
  • Experience working in or with high-growth technology, healthcare, or digital health organizations preferred
  • Strategic mindset with strong operational execution and ability to thrive in ambiguity
  • Collaborative and proactive; able to manage multiple priorities across teams and functions

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $175,000 to $220,000. Salary ranges are determined by role and level. Compensation is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
