Primary Responsibilities:

• Identify and analyze customer requirements
• Deliver high-quality and efficient Java EE applications
• Design, develop and maintain Java applications within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Recommend software solutions to emerging needs
• Communicate effectively with DEV, QA, and Support teams
• Work with external vendors for integrated solutions without comprising the integrity of our applications
• Perform code reviews
• Mentor and lead junior developers on the team
• Execute production releases working with internal teams
• Document processes and features as needed

Skill Required

• Advanced experience in Java, JEE, Webservices and Database concepts
• Web programming, user interface design experience, and database design
• Knowledge of Unix commands to perform deployments on Linux servers
• Good time management skills
• Problem solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years of application development experience
