About the Role
The Solutions Consultant role aims to build technical credibility throughout the new business sales and renewal process, ensuring an exceptional engagement experience for our customers. Additionally, Solutions Consultants are responsible for showcasing how Cirium’s capabilities solve industry challenges and deliver maximum value to clients. The Solutions Consulting team also plays a key role in developing and delivering sales training and product certification to support our high-performing global sales teams.
Responsibilities
Pre-sales Support (50%): Works closely with the sales team to identify and qualify opportunities and prepare for customer engagement. Deliver on technical element of customer discovery and qualification to fully understand customer needs and pain points. Develop and deliver compelling product and data demonstrations that highlight how Cirium's solutions will deliver the value to our customers specific requirements and provide the answer to the problem they are trying to solve. Technical content ownership of commercial proposal process, RFI and RFQ processes and support of scoping during closure phase of sales process. Supporting sales in industry events and delivering thought leadership content at key events.
Training and content development (30%): Responsible for designing and developing materials, process and documentation for product training for sales teams and knowledge transfer across solution consulting. Conduct bespoke industry 101 training and product certification for the sales teams on specific use cases to support go-to market product positioning.
Cross Functional Collaboration and Feedback (10%): Works in partnership with Sales and effectively provides feedback with other teams within Cirium, such as product management, data management groups, value and product marketing and PDS to ensure continuous improvement of products and capability. Works closely with sales leadership and sales enablement to support continuous improvement of the sales process through product and data knowledge.
Technical Account Management: (10%) Establishes technical credibility and develops higher, deeper, wider technical relationships with named key enterprise accounts. Partners with sales to provide world class technical account management and input to enterprise account plans.
Network and Commercial Planning Experience: Possesses a strong understanding of the main Network Planning /Commercial Planning uses cases and ideally experience of Cirium products and data. This knowledge of use cases and product capability allows them to effectively communicate the value of Cirium's solutions to Airlines and Airports.
Quickly Establish Technical Credibility In combination with the above industry expertise, has a strong foundation in data analytics or data science or the ability to query data. They are proficient in understanding and embedding new products and capability.
Excellent Communication and Demonstration Skills: Can effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Skilled in creating compelling presentations and demonstrations that showcase the value of Cirium's solutions to customers and in industry events.
Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Works closely with Sales to establish customers pain points and identify the most appropriate Cirium solutions to address their challenges. They can think critically and creatively to deliver innovative solutions that solve the customer problems.
Customer Focus and High Levels of Emotional Intelligence: Prioritizes customer needs and builds strong relationships and connections with customers. They are responsive to customer inquiries and actively seek feedback to improve the customer experience and to develop as an individual.
Requirements:
