Responsibilities:

• Coordinating the payroll process in Mexico and Colombia, ensuring effective support for daily operations.
• Handling payroll processes, such as hirings, vacations, terminations, transfers, leaves, benefits, social charges, and accounting.
• Maintaining communication with the third-party payroll supplier, ensuring approvals, checks, and templates are aligned with core payroll processes.
• Responding to audits performed by local statutory agencies, internal auditors, and external auditors.
• Assisting in preparing management reports and updating policies as needed.
• Monitoring the application of labor legislation across the region.
• Supporting payroll operational activities in Brazil whenever necessary, collaborating with the area's synergy and effectiveness.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Fluent in Spanish, which is mandatory for this role.
• Intermediate to advanced level of English and/or Portuguese will be a plus.
• Have an education background in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Human Resources, or relevant experience.
• Have proven and progressive experience in LATAM payroll: Mexico, Colombia and Brazil.
• Display an understanding of tax regulations of more than one country with preferred knowledge in Mexico.
• Have knowledge of payroll and legislation across multiple jurisdictions in LATAM.
• Be experienced in Microsoft Office Suite; particularly Excel skills: formulas, pivot tables, V-look up.
• Show effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
