About our team: The Risk strategy team plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of LexisNexis Risk Solutions. This group is responsible for driving key initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), risk assessment, and strategic planning. The team collaborates closely with various departments to identify growth opportunities, assess potential risks, and develop comprehensive strategies to support the company's long-term objectives. Their work is highly visible and often involves interaction with senior leaders, corporate officers, and board members.

About the Role: Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to executives and nonexecutive employees or groups in the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing calendar schedules to avoid conflicts.
  • Arranging business travel, coordinating meeting arrangements, and completing expense reports for executives and their direct reports.
  • Using business software applications (e.g., word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet) to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc.
  • Receiving, screening, and directing incoming calls, visitors, mail, and email.
  • Coordinating office activities, lunches, and meetings.
  • Organizing and running quarterly Town Halls over MS Teams and MS Teams Live Events.
  • Collaborating across large teams to create newsletters.
  • Creating organizational charts with MS Visio.
  • Creating MS PowerPoint presentations for Town Halls and other events.
  • Organizing global Hack-a-Thons and company "Cares" events.
  • Coordinating offsite and team-building meetings for 100+ attendees.
  • Designing creative PowerPoint presentation slides/templates.
  • Assisting with drafting executive organizational announcements for distribution.
  • Ordering swag for employees and events.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
  • High school diploma; Associate degree preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products including, but not limited to, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to exercise considerable discretion and independent judgment.
  • Capable of analyzing complex information requests.
  • Adaptability/flexibility.
