About the Team

The Global Sales Effectiveness Team is a diverse and dynamic group supporting the global sales organization. Our primary responsibility is to provide learning that meets the needs of the business, fosters growth within the sales organization, and ultimately improves skills and performance. We offer a variety of training programs including sales new hire programs, tools and processes, professional development, and leadership programs. Our aim is to ensure that everyone in the sales organization has the training, resources, and support they need to succeed. About the Role

The Global Sales Effectiveness Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the capabilities of our sales team through comprehensive onboarding, managing the sales certification program, and conducting training on essential sales tools. This role requires a solid understanding of sales processes and tools, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with sales leaders and cross-functional teams. The Global Sales Effectiveness Manager will ensure new hires receive tailored training, coordinate workshops, and support ongoing development initiatives, including the ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new sales associates, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed.

  • Sales Certification Program: Manage and oversee the sales certification program, ensuring it enhances the capabilities of the sales team and they are prepared for the responsibilities of their role.

  • Training on Sales Tools: Conduct training sessions on various sales tools, including Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ensuring that all team members are proficient in their use and understand best practices.

  • Sales Processes: Maintain a solid understanding of sales processes and continuously improve training materials to reflect current best practices.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with sales leaders to ensure the onboarding process aligns with their team’s expectations and needs.

  • Workshops: Coordinate and facilitate onsite and virtual workshops for new sales associates.

  • Travel: Ability to travel as needed to support training and development initiatives.

  • Communication: Utilize excellent communication skills to effectively convey information and provide support to the sales team.

Requirements

  • Proven success in sales a plus, with experience in sales training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of delivering effective training programs and engaging with employees at all levels

  • Demonstrate organizational and analytical skills to assess training needs and develop appropriate programs

  • Effective program management skills, including clear communication, strategic planning, efficient execution of tasks, and program evaluation

  • Solid management and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with Directors and Managers in developing and implementing training programs

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams

  • Agile and adaptable, capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously to meet the dynamic needs of the sales organization

  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
