About the Role:

The Program Manager – Events & Strategic Initiatives is a senior-level individual contributor responsible for the planning, execution, and effectiveness of high-impact corporate events and cross-functional programs that drive business outcomes. This role blends event leadership with enterprise program management, ensuring seamless delivery of both experiential and operational initiatives that align with company goals.

Responsibilities:

• The primary responsibility of the position is to own the planning and execution of major annual events, such as: 1,000+ person Sales Kickoff and global sales incentive trips.
• Ensure events achieve business goals, meet stakeholder expectations, stay within budget, and provide a great attendee experience.
• Collaborate across business units, lead matrixed teams, interact with executive leadership, and partner with external vendors on all aspects of event execution end-to-end.
• Manage multimillion-dollar budgets with a focus on ROI, effectiveness, and innovation.
• Manage all aspects of vendor management including selection, contract negotiations, and compliance.
• Develop and deliver executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations on program and event performance.
• Due to seasonality of events, the position also leads the planning and execution of strategic programs beyond events, including sales process improvement initiatives and strategic business transformations.
• Partner with senior leadership to define program objectives, success metrics, and governance structures.
• Manage program roadmaps, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies across multiple departments.
• Project manage selected initiatives as required.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years’ experience in project or program management in a large, complex business environment.
• 5+ years’ experience in event planning.
• Proven success managing large-scale events and cross-functional programs in a corporate environment.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
• Strategic thinker with a passion for creating impactful experiences.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity across complex initiatives.
• Adept at balancing creativity with operational excellence.
