About our Team
The LexisNexis Risk Solutions insurance marketing team builds right-time, right-place awareness, and engagement to promote hundreds of solutions to our insurance customers across the globe. Specifically, we drive demand for our solutions, act as stewards of the LexisNexis Risk Solutions brand, and manage brand identity assets. We work with our business partners to create the market message. We plan and execute strategic campaigns and events. We conduct market research to provide insights that inform marketing and business programs. Lastly, we work with media and analysts to inform and educate the market.
About the Role
As an Insurance Marketing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a variety of functional roles within the marketing organization. You will help plan and execute our world-class annual Customer Advisory Meeting (CAM); our premier industry event attended by hundreds of insurance decision-makers. You’ll complete 3-week rotations within event management, market research/insights, and segment marketing– which is a generalist role that partners with business general managers to define strategic marketing plans. For each rotation, you’ll report to a key marketing stakeholder, with the Senior Director, Market Insights as your consistent advisor/mentor throughout the rotational program.
The program runs from May 18, 2026, to July 24, 2026, and is open to currently enrolled junior students graduating in May 2027. This internship is based in Alpharetta, GA, with no relocation assistance provided.
Responsibilities
Assisting in setting up the CAM registration site, including proofing, content management, and testing.Graduating in May 2027.
Reporting on U.K. and U.S. CAM events during the registration process.
Supporting the event team in daily administrative tasks.
Supporting the market insights team in planning, developing, and executing research related to CAM events
Shadowing a U.S. segment marketing manager to support content and message creation for specific insurance vertical markets.
Participating in planning meetings with business stakeholders and supporting campaign setup and administrative tasks.
Requirements
Be currently enrolled as a Junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.
Possess excellent communication, writing, and grammar skills; familiarity with AP Style is advantageous.
Display eagerness to learn and a desire to pursue a career in marketing, communications, or business.
Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively and maintain a positive attitude as a team player.
Be self-driven and open to receiving constructive feedback.
Display a passion for staying updated on the latest marketing trends, best practices, and technologies.
