About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Systems Engineer with experience in Linux environments and automation. In this role, you will contribute to building and supporting reliable, secure, and scalable systems. We welcome individuals with a variety of experiences and backgrounds who are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support, maintain, and automate Linux-based infrastructure (such as CentOS, RHEL, or similar).

  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or comparable solutions.

  • Write and maintain Ansible playbooks and automation scripts for configuration management and infrastructure tasks.

  • Create and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Python for monitoring and integration.

  • Monitor system performance and assist with troubleshooting in development, staging, and production environments.

  • Work with data processing and analysis tools (for example, Splunk).

  • Participate in identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities to maintain a secure environment.

  • Operate both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Linux System Administration role.

  • Experience with Linux system administration (such as RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar distributions).

  • Hands-on experience with configuration management and automation (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, or similar tools).

  • Proficiency in scripting with Bash and Python.

  • Familiarity with processing JSON and YAML data formats.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar).

  • Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.

  • Basic knowledge of networking, firewalls, DNS, and system monitoring.

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems in complex systems.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

  • Experience with RESTful API integration.

  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

  • Understanding of virtualization, containerization, and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.

  • Interest in secure software delivery and a proactive approach to system security.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Enthusiasm for automation, reliability, and process improvement.
