About the Role:

The Sales Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring smooth operational execution for the sales organization. In this role, you will manage foundational account setup and maintenance tasks, provide timely responses to routine inquiries, and collaborate across teams to keep customer information accurate and up‑to‑date. You will support Account Managers during weekly reviews, assist with customer updates, and ensure all processes align with documented procedures.
This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment with clear guidance from leadership and experienced team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Completing fundamental account setup and maintenance, including user additions/removals, contact updates, and account closure processing.
  • Responding to routine questions from Sales Representatives and internal teams, escalating complex issues to the appropriate resources.
  • Participating in weekly account review meetings with Sales Representatives and your manager to discuss account status and open requests.
  • Monitoring and following up on pending updates such as pricing changes, product questions, or customer‑requested adjustments.
  • Collaborating with team members to execute assigned tasks and contribute to small‑scale improvement projects.
  • Attending team meetings, training sessions, and knowledge‑building workshops to enhance understanding of products, systems, and processes.
  • Following documented procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency, and proactively seeking clarification when needed.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to support multiple Sales Representatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to ensuring data accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Office Suite, Salesforce, and internal databases.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • Previous experience in administrative support or customer service preferred.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $44,500 - $74,100. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.

Base Pay Range for CO is $44,500 - $74,100. Base Pay Range for IL is $46,700 - $77,700. Base Pay Range for Chicago, IL is $49,000 - $81,500. Base Pay Range for MD is $46,700 - $77,700. Base Pay Range for NY is $49,000 - $81,500. Base Pay Range for New York City is $51,100 - $85,200. Base Pay Range for Rochester, NY is $42,200 - $70,400. Base Pay Range for OH is $42,200 - $70,400. Base Pay Range for NJ is $50,204- $80,196.
