About our Team

Claims Record Unit (CRU) is a division of LexisNexis, which is the industry leader of procuring Law Enforcement records nationwide. Insurance carriers use these records to aide in the adjudication of claims. We process 8 million requests annually and foster business relationships with agencies to streamline and improve processes. CRU is the single point of contact for our customers and utilizes multiple resources and platforms across the U.S, Canada, and P.R. Our teams are located in Duluth, Ga. and the Philippines.

About the Role

This role involves supporting the procurement and management of records for insurance purposes. The position requires applying a foundational understanding of record acquisition to routine tasks such as reviewing, compiling, organizing, and maintaining documentation. The role regularly handles recurring assignments with accuracy and consistency, ensuring records meet company standards. The work also supports departmental goals by delivering timely and accurate processing of requests. Occasional holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming responses from police agencies.

  • Research and review requests and police record information using websites, internal systems, and external databases.

  • Fulfill, edit, and modify police record requests to ensure compliance with company standards.

  • Perform additional research as needed to meet customer expectations and departmental goals.

  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.

  • Perform sedentary tasks as well as occasional physical labor.

  • Work onsite Thursday to Monday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Tues & Wed off).

  • Attend training Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM for approximately one month before transitioning to the regular shift.

  • Maintain occasional availability on holidays.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and remain on feet for several hours when necessary.

  • Experience in Criminal Justice, Insurance Claims, Call Centers, and/or police departments is a plus.

  • Must be available to work weekends (40-hour workweek with 16 weekend hours).

  • Must be available on select holidays.

  • Ability to work the required schedule: Thursday–Monday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

  • High school diploma required.



U.S. National Base Pay Range: $33,500 - $55,700. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
