About our Team
The EssentialID Orchestration Platform product team is at the center of delivering next-generation digital identity solutions. We build and scale the EssentialID Orchestration Platform, enabling issuers, verifiers, and relying parties to seamlessly orchestrate identity workflows, issue verifiable credentials, credential lifecycle management, and support real-time verification experiences.
Our team partners across engineering, data, compliance, and go-to-market functions to deliver innovative, standards-based identity solutions that drive growth across LexisNexis Risk Solutions.
About the Role
The Senior Product Manager II will own a product or multiple product features within the EssentialID Orchestration Platform, as well as lead product domain strategy and program execution. This individual will represent the digital identity orchestration domain to peers, managers, and executives across the company and to external audiences, serving as a central point for customer understanding.
They will work closely with delivery teams to prioritize new capabilities and respond to customer needs across identity proofing, authentication, credential issuance, and verification workflows. This individual will also mentor and informally lead cross-functional team members.
Position can be remote in the US or hybrid from one of our offices.
Responsibilities
- Gathering, evaluating, and developing a strong understanding of customer use cases related to digital identity, credential issuance, and verification workflows. Maintaining close contact with customers to understand evolving market needs, regulatory considerations, and ecosystem trends.
- Leveraging metrics to track progress on customer outcomes such as credential issuance rates, verification success rates, and workflow completion. Identifying key data points, defining KPIs, and managing through ambiguity in complex identity ecosystems.
- Developing hypothesis-driven product evaluation strategies and applying a data-driven approach to optimize identity workflows, even when complete datasets are not available.
- Developing and executing go-to-market strategies for orchestration capabilities in partnership with marketing, sales, and customer-facing teams. Supporting pricing and packaging of platform capabilities where applicable.
- Driving end-to-end lifecycle ownership of orchestration capabilities, including planning, design, development, and release of features such as:
- Credential offer, issuance, and lifecycle management
- Identity proofing and authentication orchestration
- API-based integrations for issuance, presentation, and verification
- Maintaining a strong understanding of the company’s SDLC processes and Agile methodologies. Writing clear and detailed requirements for complex workflows and APIs and responding to stakeholder questions with clarity.
- Managing product execution independently, engaging leadership as needed, while ensuring alignment with broader business strategy.
- Developing and communicating a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives. Driving stakeholder alignment while emphasizing return on investment and commercial impact.
- Leveraging knowledge of competitors, industry standards, and emerging identity frameworks (e.g., OpenID Connect, Verifiable Credentials, Digital Credentials API) to inform product decisions.
- Working closely with engineering teams to extend platform capabilities and integrate with internal and external systems such as identity proofing providers, authentication services, payment, systems of record, and relying party systems.
- Driving innovation by identifying opportunities to improve orchestration workflows, reduce friction in identity journeys, and enable new digital credential use cases.
- Providing clear direction, fostering collaboration, and building strong relationships across teams. Promoting accountability, ownership, and high performance within cross-functional groups.
- Communicating expectations clearly, following through on commitments, and promoting a sense of urgency to achieve business and product goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in Identity, Fraud, Risk, Authentication, or API-driven platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, or similar) preferred but not required.
- Experience owning product lifecycle strategy and execution across complex, platform-based products.
- Familiarity with Verifiable Credentials and digital identity ecosystems preferred.
- Experience working with API-based products, workflow orchestration platforms, or integration-heavy systems.
- Demonstrated ability to build deep customer relationships and translate customer needs into scalable product solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with experience defining KPIs, dashboards, and data-driven product decisions.
- Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams, influence without authority, and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


U.S. National Base Pay Range: $115,400 - $192,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
