The Quality Test Engineer position has a key role for Financial Crime Compliance business who will be part of the CONTINUITY team working to enhance our industry-leading and sophisticated screening solutions used by the top 200 banks.

About the Role

The Quality Test Engineer position has a key role for Financial Crime Compliance business. This position owns and drives the quality engineering aspects of our products delivered to prestigious financial institutions across the world. This role will be part of the CONTINUITY team working to enhance our industry-leading and sophisticated screening solutions used by the top 200 banks.

We are looking for people who are passionate about shipping high quality software to the customer as quickly as possible. You are comfortable helping to define quality requirements and fleshing out acceptance criteria. You are confident talking to customers and stakeholders and engaging them in the process where necessary. You are a strong communicator with collaboration at the heart of how you work You are passionate about efficiency and speed to market and are accustomed to working in agile teams following practices that support continuous integration

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute early in the software development lifecycle to improve standards, design, and testability.
  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams to promote quality and define meaningful metrics.
  • Develop automated tests alongside feature development, focusing on scalability and reuse.
  • Support and enhance existing test frameworks in a CI/CD environment.
  • Select appropriate testing methods (API, integration, UI, manual) based on team and product needs.
  • Share knowledge and mentor others to foster a collaborative learning culture.
  • Research and recommend tools to improve performance testing and overall product quality.
  • Assist in creating and executing performance test plans with the QA team.

Requirement

  • Automating tests with Java or similar language with Behavior Driven Development.
  • Experience in testing applications in a fast-moving and agile environment.
  • Experience with Selenium, WebDriver & Cucumber is must.
  • Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions etc; willingness to learn Jenkins is required.
  • Experience in API testing using tools like Postman and API automation using Rest Assured.
  • Experience with AI technologies is a strong plus.
  • Strong knowledge of testing techniques and test methodologies, with proven practical application.
  • Experience using test / project management / wiki tools such as JIRA / Confluence
  • Experience testing web applications and multiple browsers
  • Ability to work on your own and be the quality champion for your squad.
  • Good to have ISTQB certification
