The Crown Is Yours

Our engineering division is composed of many tight-knit and stable teams that each own a specific area of our platform all the way from the UI to the database. You will be assigned directly to one of these teams and will work alongside senior engineers responsible for bringing you up to speed. We will value your ability to work closely with a group of your peers to achieve meaningful results and can offer an excellent platform for starting your career in engineering.

What you’ll do as an iOS Software Engineer

  • Build high-quality iOS applications that bring joy and reliability to millions of users.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and delivery of new features using Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Write maintainable, testable, and efficient code following modern development practices and DraftKings’ engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members—product managers, designers, and backend engineers—to understand requirements and deliver features that align with user and business goals.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide thoughtful feedback to peers, ensuring high-quality code and shared team learning.
  • Engage in continuous learning—soliciting feedback, applying best practices, and deepening your understanding of iOS technologies and system architecture.

What you’ll bring

  • 1–3 years of experience in iOS software development.
  • Solid understanding of iOS app architecture patterns and mobile SDLC processes.
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools (e.g., Git), Xcode tooling, and automated testing practices.
  • A keen attention to code quality and performance optimization.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an Agile team.
  • A mindset for learning, adaptability, and contributing to team stability and growth.
