As a Sportsbook Floor Security Lead, you will be responsible for positively impacting the safety and security of company assets, including guests and DraftKings Team Members, while maintaining guest satisfaction. Responding to guest issues and ensuring their safety will drive the success of the Security staff and the DraftKings community as a whole.
Lead and schedule the Sportsbook Floor Security team, including managing time-off requests and shift coverage.
Act as the primary contact for non-security personnel regarding security-related issues and procedures.
Patrol the Sportsbook to ensure a safe, respectful environment; safeguard doors, equipment, cash transfers, and individuals.
Document and report all incidents promptly, including accidents, theft, property damage, fraud, or procedural violations.
Respond to and de-escalate patron disputes, aggressive behavior, medical incidents, fire alarms, and life safety concerns.
Collaborate with internal security teams, surveillance, regulators, and law enforcement, ensuring professionalism at all times.
A college degree or equivalent experience, with a background in Criminal Justice or security strongly preferred.
3+ years of leadership experience in a physical security environment, including scheduling and team management.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to address groups of guests or associates effectively.
Ability to obtain Basic First Aid (CPR, AED) certification, as well as required licensing from the Illinois Gaming Board.
Physical capability to stand and walk for entire shifts, climb stairs, bend, stoop, and lift or carry up to 35 pounds.
Strong situational awareness, including visual acuity to detect hazards or violations and hearing ability to respond to voices and alarms.

The US hourly rate for this full-time position is 27.86 USD - 34.83 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations.
