At DraftKings, AI is becoming an integral part of both our present and future, powering how work gets done today, guiding smarter decisions, and sparking bold ideas. It’s transforming how we enhance customer experiences, streamline operations, and unlock new possibilities. Our teams are energized by innovation and readily embrace emerging technology. We’re not waiting for the future to arrive. We’re shaping it, one bold step at a time. To those who see AI as a driver of progress, come build the future together.

The Crown Is Yours

As a Software Engineer, you'll help build the platforms and tools that DraftKings engineers across the company rely on to ship software fast and safely. You'll own work end-to-end, ship production code, and solve problems that unblock entire teams — all in a fast-paced environment where what you build shapes how hundreds of engineers do their best work. This is your opportunity to grow technically while driving impact from day one.

What you'll do as a Software Engineer

  • Build and maintain backend services and shared libraries that other teams depend on daily.
  • Own your work end-to-end — from requirements through implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Debug and triage production issues to keep the platform reliable.
  • Write clean, tested code and take part in code reviews across the team.
  • Use AI tools to move faster and raise the quality of your work.

What you'll bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or any relevant combination of education, experience, and training.
  • At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience, with solid fundamentals in object-oriented programming and data structures.
  • Hands-on experience with C# and .NET.
  • Comfort using AI tools effectively in your day-to-day work.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows in shared repositories.
  • Experience writing unit tests and contributing to quality-driven development.
  • A passion for building great software and improving continuously.
